ABSTRACT
Office layout is one factor that can support the system
working at a company, so that the office layout is very necessary to be
considered. Indonesia is a country with the productivity scale that starts from
large, medium and small, and the system office layout also varies. physical
environment office is something that is around workers which include lighting,
color, music, air and noises that affected him in doing the task assigned to
him. This implies that the office should not just an office that had a fancy
building and furnishings are luxurious as well. But the good offices must also
consider some other important things that can make the office is able to
support the work of the office itself. As for some of the side that should be
of particular concern is the feasibility of an office building and health
itself. An office should provide comfort and security for employees so that
employees will feel at ease at work and of course this will result in an
increase in performance of the employees. Thereby the company or agency needs
to pay attention to the state of the office, particularly on the state of
lighting, air circulation, and also the color. Besides the alignment of the
office space is also noteworthy because it will affect the psychological state
employees, such as the model room, furniture layout, audio-visual and other
settings. Not only that the company must also consider factors that can
increase arousal employee performance while factors that may affect it is the
office layout. So that office management is very necessary to make the office
atmosphere and create a comfortable and safe for employees if they want the
level of productivity or increased employee performance. This journal will
discuss about the physical environment of the office layout that provides a
positive impact on employee performance improvement in more detail and detail.
